बादलों को चीर जब ये तेज़ हवाएं चलती हैं,
खिड़कियां तेरी यादों की इनसे फिर खुलती हैं

मैं बन्द हूँ कुछ दिनों से एक ही कमरे में तो क्या,
तेरी ख़ुशबू अब भी यहां वैसे ही महकती हैं,

जिस्म जले थे जिस आग में उसका है कहना,
चिंगारियां अब भी भड़कने को जलतीं हैं,

उन्हीं खिड़कियों से देखता हूँ खाली सड़कें
जिनके पर्दे आज भी तेरे दुप्पट्टे वाले रंग के हैं,

मैं तेरे लिए समंदर सा गहरा इश्क़ लाऊँ क्या,
रूक ज़रा अगले महीने ये सड़क खुलने को हैं
